An Italy-Spain may sound like a classic European and world football, however, can count on the fingers of the opportunities that these two teams have seen their faces in official matches.

Specifically, on Sunday in the quarterfinals of Euro, will be the tenth party official who face the Azzurra and the Cross. History favours Italy, with five wins, three draws and just one victory in Spain.

The last match played between them was a friendly on March 26 this year, playing in Elche, which Spain won 1-0.

The last formal dated July 9 1994, in the quarterfinals of the World Undios States, which won the azurri 2-1 thanks to goals from Dino Baggio and Roberto Baggio. Luis Caminero had temporarily tied to Spain.
