It is the world champion, but Italy is also the oldest selection of all Uefa Euro 2008 ™, while Russia puts the nerve and vigour as the youngest team in the tournament.

With calls for the 16 teams already prepared, it is possible to compare and contrast information involving 368 players. No less than 56 players who will dispute the Championship play in the Bundesliga, while in England attending 44 (a figure that could have been greater if the selection English has been classified for the tournament). Spain, with 40 footballers, Italy with 35 and Russia with 29, before Germany and England.

Total equipment
The clubs contributing more players to the competition are from different leagues. Olympique Lyonnais and Panathinaikos FC transferred to ten players, seven of the Ligue 1 champions France in Raymond Domenech's joint Greek and six in the current champion of Europe. AS Galatasaray and FC Bayern Munich contributing nine, over Werder Bremen, Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona, which transferred eight.
