The Greek selector has remained at this list of ten 'survivors' of the Euro 2004, where the Greeks were left with the title.
Otto Rehhagel said on Tuesday: "Sokratis Papastahopoulos ... you're nominated." And after loading the defense of AEK Athens of the tentative list, Mister has already confirmed the roster of 23 players who will participate in the Greek Euro 2008.
The news, besides the low Papastahopoulos, is that Rehhagel will keep ten of its' escuderos' that achieved the title of Champion of Europe in the last edition of the contest, in 2004.
Among them are the target Nikopolidis, central Dellas and right-handed side of athletics in Madrid, Yourkas Seitaridis. Also, of course, we will see the 'Flaco' Angelos Charisteas, the hero of the Greek Euro 2004.
Greece, which will rival Spain, Russia and Sweden in Group D of Euro 2008, will therefore these 23 players:
