EURO 2008 INFO

Danut Coman, goalkeeper of Rapid Bucharest, convened by the selector Victor Piturca for the final tournament in Austria and Switzerland, may not participate in the Euro 2008 with Romania after suffering an accident during training.

Piturca said today that as a broken thumb on his left hand on Friday and will be unavailable for the friendly with Montenegro's May 31.

Eat tried unsuccessfully to convince the selection to keep it in the lot because it is convinced it will improve, but without success.

Piturca instead called the goalkeeper of CFR Cluj, Eduard Stancioiu 26 years.

Stancioiu, who is on holiday in the island Elba, expressed regret at the unfortunate enough to Eat, noting that for the call is a big surprise and a great opportunity and pointed out that immediately comes to the conclusion.

The other two goalkeepers in the selection are Bogdan Lobont's Dinamo Bucharest and Marius Popa Stiinta of Politehnica Timisoara.
