So that all can follow Montpelliérains major sporting events, in a friendly atmosphere, the city of Montpellier has decided to install a giant screen on the Place de la Comédie for the live matches of Euro 2008, 9 to 29 June 2008.
As with the screen installed for the World Cup 2006 matches and the Rugby World Cup 2007, that of the Euro 2008 will be at the Opera-Comedy, in the beginning of the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle.
However, because of certain events taking place on the Place de la Comedie during these three weeks (Total Festum and Music Day), the screen will be installed on certain evenings on the Esplanade of Europe.
The city of Montpellier retransmit all matches Team France, and the final of Euro 2008.
Program broadcasts:
-- Monday, June 9 at 18h00: France v Romania - Place de la Comedie
-- Friday, June 13 at 20h45: France v Netherlands - Esplanade of Europe
-- Tuesday, June 17 at 20h45: France v Italy - Place de la Comedie or Esplanade of Europe
-- ¼-Finals if the presence of France:
June 21 is 20.45 - Esplanade of Europe, June 22 20:45 - Place de la Comedie
-- ½ Finale if the presence of France:
either June 25 or June 26 20.45 - Place de la Comedie
-- Final: Sunday, June 29 at 20:45 - Place de la Comedie or Esplanade of Europe.
