French cellular operator SFR has won the 3G broadcast rights in France to the upcoming Euro2008 soccer tournament. SFR says it has acquired the exclusive 3G mobile rights to the important UEFA Euro 2008 soccer tournament taking place in Switzerland and Austria from June 7 to 29.
Rights acquired cover 31 matches. The French mobile operator will allow its subscribers to exclusively follow the events either via video or photo format all of the competition scores as well as the summing up of each game.
SFR is an official partner of the French Soccer Federation.
