EURO 2008 INFO

Players of the Polish selection for the Euro 2008 football (7-29 June) will share a bonus of three million euros in the event of victory, announced Wednesday the president of the Football Association (PZPN) Michal Listkiewicz.

"If we win the championship, the selection will be divided among three million euros," said Listkiewicz journalists.

Each match won in pool stages to the team will be worth 400,000 euros and 200,000 euros in the event of a tie.

If they leave the group, the players will share and 800,000 euros if they qualify in the semi-finals, they will receive 1.2 million.

A runner-up will bring them the sum of 1.8 million euros to be shared.

The leader of the Federation also indicated that each of the 23 players selected for the Euro-2008 would receive a "bonus" of 10,000 euros and a sum of 15,000 euros would be paid to each player for each game played.

Poland has been placed in Group B for phase hens of the Euro-2008, in the company of Croatia, Germany and Austria.
