Two thousand five hundred trains will be made available in Switzerland to transport spectators of the Euro-2008, announced Wednesday the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).
SBB waiting more than a million additional passengers during the three weeks of the Euro-2008, they said in a statement.
The regional rail traffic will be provided up to 24 hours from 24 in the cities hosting the event. Moreover, the opening hours of stations will be extended.
The offer cross-border between Switzerland and Austria, the other countries organizer of the Euro-2008, will also be strengthened and supplemented by a special train "World Champion", the statement added.
Tickets at the stadium will also enjoy free use of public transport Swiss and Austrian, stressed the CFF.
Four cities will host Switzerland between 7 and June 29 matches a portion of the Euro 2008 Bern, Basel, Zurich and Geneva.
