The opening hours of shops and restaurants are set. In the city centre and in Carouge, stores will open on weekdays until 20h. The hours will also be extended until 19 pm on Saturdays 7 and 14. Finally, the stores will open Sunday, June 15, the day of the last game in Geneva. The cafes and restaurants will remain open until 30 minutes after the end of matches. On the terraces, plastic cups will be mandatory to avoid broken glass.
The mobility plan is also developed. The borders with France will remain open as usual. The frequency of public transport will be increased. Different places of celebration will be connected by free shuttle buses.
Outside the stadium, most of the festival will take place at Plainpalais (two giant screens, 40 restaurants), Bout-du-Monde (music, camping, a giant screen) and the Vernets (feast every night between 23h and the 5h morning). Since the closure of Plainpalais (midnight on weekdays, 2 am on weekends), the partygoers will be redirected to the Vernets to limit pollution.
