EURO 2008 INFO

Adrian Mutu has been cleared to play in Romania's Euro 2008 warm-up against fellow finalists Russia by his club Fiorentina.

The former Chelsea striker sustained a knee injury during the 1-0 defeat at Roma on February 24th.

The 29-year-old had originally been left out of coach Victor Piturca's squad after doctors said that more time was needed for him to recover.

However, Mutu returned to the Fiore side and scored in Sunday's 3-1 home win over Genoa.

Mutu has scored 24 goals this season, including six in nine matches for his country.
